In their quest to preserve traditional bookbinding in service of modern technology and to manufacture locally again in San Francisco’s Dogpatch neighborhood, my friends at DODOcase have long been bridging analog and digital worlds.
They launched with an iPad case reminiscent of the classic Moleskin notebook, but they’ve recently entered the paper game with two new products: Notes and Folio.
Notes is a little iPhone-sized notebook that straps itself to your phone so the two become one when you’re hustling from one meeting to the next and navigating doors, coffees, handshakes, etc.
Folio is the same idea but amped up for an iPad mini: a classic canvas and leather bookbound case house the iPad and a similarly sized notebook. There’s room for a pen and wallet essentials, too.
Never have analog and digital cohabitated more harmoniously….
